Question 1: I have an L3+ or L3++ how can I make it perform better/what firmware do you suggest? Answer:We tend to prefer AsicFW which can be found here: https://asicfw.io/antminer-l3.html While it does have a dev fee built in we find that the profit seems to be worth it when balanced against the robust overclocking capabilities and better power consumption. Blissz is an option, but, is no longer supported. Others are also around. Question 2: How do I set up unmineable with a gpu? Answer: Why are you doing this? Do you have a really old gpu? i.e. a 4gb card? If no, Check out mining ethereum or ravencoin instead. (editiors note: may be a bit of bias in this answer. If you dont like it pfffftttttttt:-) Check out son of tech on youtube for great guides to get started with Eth or ravencoin. Question 3: How do I overclock my L3+ with the Asicfw software? How do I manually tune the chips? Answer: Check out our dear leader's videos! Answer: Is the current market set at a really, really high price? If so... We try to protect our members from scalping or market rates when they are high if current market rate for used equipment falls outside of a three to four month return on investment (ROI). This isn't because we hate you making a profit, more that we also know how to search ebay. If we suspect scalping or scams, banhammer shall fall from the sky. Go make your money, we dont begrudge anyone that. Just remember this is a community that is here to help each other within reason. Question 5: I am getting a signature error when I try to update my L3+ firmware, what do i do? Answer: Congratulations and also not! You have a newer batch of these ASICS. You will need to mount the firmware to an 8GB SD card (Have heard 16GB may work) If loading the files onto this SD card doesnt seem to work, you should mount it as an image. Try this software: https://win32diskimager.org/ Also, the SD card is located on the control board. You will need to power everything off, make sure you are grounded and slide the board at the top out. From there insert your sd card and only connect your control board to your power supply. Do not connect any of the chip boards to the psu. Question 6: Should I clean my ASIC? What is the maintenance I should perform?
